First edition of these two works on The Great Northern War (1700–1721) a major conflict in which Denmark-Norway, Russia and others fought against Sweden’s dominance in Northern Europe.
Both works are polemical state publications meant to justify Denmark’s military action against Sweden by combining historical narrative, moral appeal and legal argumentation.
