Exceedingly rare first edition of Fessel’s extensive collection of sermons delivered during the funerals of prominent persons in the fortress of Küstrin (now Kostrzyn nad Odra Poland) between 1659 and 1661. Daniel Fessel (1599 - 1674), was a German theologian and philosopher being the Evangelical Lutheran court preacher to the widowed Electress Anna of Brandenburg and later as superintendent in Küstrin, holding the rank and title of an electoral Brandenburg consistorial councilor.
