Later German translation, first published in French in 1703, of Vallement’s popular work on agriculture and gardening containing descriptions on the cultivation and propagation methods of wheat, flowers, and fruit plants, on garden care and pruning for ornamental purposes. Vallemont (1649-1721) was a historian, numismatist, theologian, and physician with a passion for gardening as well. (Brunet V, 1061 - the first French).
