First printing of the third volume of Peter Foersom's (and P.F. Wulf's) translation of Shakespeare's tragic works. This volume contains the first Danish translation of Richard II and Henry IV.
The present translation of Shakespeare's works is considered the most important in Danish literature and became the standard version of the works.
The copy previously belonged to the renowned Danish literary historians Paul V. Rubow and Mogens Brøndsted.
